The Casa Frela Gallery in Harlem will host a fundraiser to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and NYC Chapter of Team-in-Training (TNT) on Saturday, February 25, 2006 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Admission is $10.00 (cash/check only-refreshments served).

The proceeds of this art sale and exhibit will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fundraising efforts of Harlem resident, Alex Brown. Alex has set a personal goal to raise, $4,300, for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society via its NYC chapter of Team-In-Training program. In conjunction with this and other fundraising efforts, Alex is currently training for the St. Petersburg Triathlon which will take place on Sunday, April 30, 2006. He is participating in this event in honor of his father (Alex Brown) and a young friend (Ryan Wright), both of whom were leukemia victims. All purchases and donations are 100% tax-deductible.

Door Prize:
Those who attend will have an opportunity to win one of three (3) works of art that have been donated. The art work and gallery space for this event were made possible through the generosity of the Casa Frela Gallery and its director, Lawrence Rodriquez.
